 Institute carries out Action Research. The ultimate purpose of all our research activities is to scientifically study the current as well as futuristic impact of Policies, Projects and Issues on the lives of the weaker sections and to generate awareness among the general public and the decision makers and to come up with alternatives.
So far ISI-Bangalore in collaboration with other like minded groups has conducted the following research studies; 1] Paradigm shift in development Co-operation 2] Land to Dalits 3] Rights to Tribal Girls Education 4] Development – Induced Displacement 5] Impact of Globalisation on the Tribals in Kerala [to be completed]. |
